Weather on the Hawaiian Islands is consistent, with only moderate seasonal changes.  Hawaii has only two basic seasons: Kau wela (hot season) from May to October, and Ho'oilo (the cool season) from November to April.  The average daytime temperature during the summer is 85 degrees Farenheit, whereas the average daytime temperature in the winter is 78 degrees.

The Climate of Hawaii is subtropical.  The mild weather and agreeable climate in Hawaii is primarily the result of four factors: latitude, ocean setting, position in the global wind pattern, and presence of local mountains.
