Is there a minimum age for hikers? | Print |  E-mail

That depends on the trip you want.  For exclusive trips, we have no minimum age, since the trip is built around the preferences of the folks who've set it up.  In these circumstances, we've taken families with babies in backpack carriers as well as other youngsters who require extra help and attention.

Otherwise, we limit the mixing of different groups on scheduled trips to include kids no younger than eight years of age so there isn't a huge adjustment for members of the group to the needs of younger children.
