Ka ua, the generic Hawaiian term for rain, includes precipitation ranging from ka ua noe, the misty rain, to ka ua wa`awa`ahia, the furrow-cutting rain.  We share the traditional view of rain as an essential of life, and a blessing --  most of the time.  We carry on with our adventures, rain or shine, unless the intensity of the rainfall makes conditions hazardous.  The safety of our guests is, of course, fundamental to our considerations and our decades of experience with Hawai`i's weather gives us confidence in making judgments
